Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
I bought this stuff about 8-10 yrs ago from a guy who rented a space at the San Diego swap meet (Kobey's). He had all kinds of treasure from a find he said he found in Santa Barbara, CA. It was hard to get him to give up too much info.
He had tons of stuff, so I do not suspect it was BS.
He told me that he was detecting on the side of a hill and came upon
a few old spanish buttons and relics. He kept finding things as he moved up the
hill and eventually came to the source. A chest full of all kinds of things
from buckles to buttons, silver, gold, brass, etc.
He said he held onto most of the silver and gold items, but did sell me
a really cool button made out of a silver spanish reale.
I also bought many other items.
I've had some of this stuff for alot of years and am trying to focus my
collecting of items, so they are up for sale.
This is not a made up story. I swear I am telling the truth and you can believe it
if you wish (or not), your choice.
Regardless of the story, these items are definetely genuine and
well worth what I am asking.
PM me with your interests. I do Paypal. All items have shipping included.
Thanks for looking!

Awesome working buckle. The loop flips back
and the top flips up. Very unique.
Beautiful!

This is very curious as the only reference to a design with three ostrich plumes like this is to the military associated with The Prince of Wales.

I'd be interested in any items that can be associated with the Spanish presence at Santa Barbara, military or civilian. Can you send me a list of what you have and prices to california_william@yahoo.com, please? Thanks!
