Treasure of another sort!

So I haven’t been able to get out and metal detect for a while because it’s always raining on my days off it seems here in Southern Indiana. I do go out and treasure hunt though of a different sort at Goodwills, even though they are getting better at going through and pulling stuff these days to put on their online auctions, they do miss things and I search for them, thought I’d share a few. 14 kt gold earrings I paid $3.00 for , $8.00 for a 19th century writing table they thought was old game board, $10.00 for a cast iron Waggoner that was revealed until I cleaned it, and $10.00 for 925 Israeli pendant. Not a bad treasure hunt!

Nice scoring! I have been going to goodwills weekly since last fall. I haven’t found much in the way of good treasures. But I am getting quite a set of anchor hocking Wexford pattern glass ware from the 1960’s.

No, that’s one of my three children…had four but had to put my collie Sammy down couple months ago. They are all 10 and 11 now, hate that I gotta deal with heart ache 3 more times down the road
