Took the metal detector out to the area where I had found the metal box that had the 15 silver coins in it. Ended up finding these babies in the dirt and on the outside of the entrance going into the old quail pen. That makes 20 silver coins from the treasure spot.

Nice job! Mercury dimes are some of my favorite coins.

Well done getting some more from the yard/pen. Congrats
Might want to swing that coil around a bit more and see if they lost any more.

My first thought when you reported the box with 15 inside was that someone was selling quail eggs. Is there anyone around that might know more about the history of this quail operation?

Congratulations on the multi-Silver hunt. Ringing in the totals for the year real quick.

The owners were preppers and were raising , rabbits, quail and chickens. I'm certain that was his precious metal barter box in case the SHTF.
