Hey all. Sarasota no longer allows metal detector usage on their beaches...This summer I want to take the family on a treasure hunting trip somewhere, but do not know good allowable places anywhere in the country to take metal detectors and go have fun. I wold really like to find a civil war site or place where there used to be gold mining but it has been shut down. Any help on vacation suggestions would be really appreciated. thanks!!!
