A question for the experts: Do you do anything to enhance the colours of your finds? I've found that a small amount of vaseline applied to the points really brings out the colours and enhances the knapping. Is this bad? Does anyone else do this?

How do you display your points? I know they go into frames but how do you keep them secured in the frames? Push pins? Wire? Thanks for the input!

Some people soak there points in mineral oil.It seems to work the best, then if you want them back to normal an acetone soak will remove all oils.As far as frames go you can buy them online.search ebay, conniecrabtree is a seller of frames.hope this helps. HB

I don't treat mine at all but as far as display cases go I prefer the foam inserts vs. using glue or wire to hold them it. If you have problems with smaller/thinner ones falling when held upright I just cut a piece of foam and put it underneath the thin points. Then they are always available to take out and look at easily.

I use foam as well. Works good and you don't have to worry about glue residue or wire damage.
