Treble gilt button?

Dear Sirs, found button in UK thats plain fronted, 22mm in diameter, gold coloured, one piece and has treble gilt and a crown symbol on back. Was wondering about history of it (possibly civil war?). No photo unfortunately. Thanks and regards...

I have some of the same buttons, and they were dug on a civil war battlefield. But im not sure if they are definetly from the civil war.
All I know is they are really old.
