well i got my 4" coil and it works great in all metal for sure and in the stream dug up everything and just found iron bolts and spikes and the big prize was a big rusty door hinge about 8" down on edge and the flys were so bad i had to call it quits next time the fly net will be in order for sure but i'm not giving up it was still fun just being on the stream!
