When I started today, I intentionally walked backwards, starting from the car. LOL
I couldn't keep it up for long and it didn't work anyway.
I thought I could make it think we were leaving.
Still had an interesting 4 hour hunt though. Not a heck of a lot of keepers but, varied enough to keep me interested.
First up, when I find a set of keys I always feel sorry for the one who lost them. Figure it had to be a bad day for them.

But, somehow, when I found these, I just had to laugh.

Keys to a miser's heart? A diary?
LOL

Someone lost their blade. Wonder how long some kid spent looking for this? It was down about 5 inches when found.

Look at this teeny, tiny, boxcar! I thought it was just scrap metal at first. Then I found a wheel.

A bit of whole wheat toast.
And, finally, the find that made my day. Thing is, I saved it for last in the post but it was the very first thing I found today! I got a 70 hit that appeared to be right on the surface. I moved the grass a bit and guess what.

Right on the surface but it seems to had been lying there for quite some time.

Cleaned up nicely though. Pretty much just a silver plated bling. Already lost a few of it's little stones, there were quite a few at one time. But, ya know what? I think this was one pretty ring in it's day.

Thanks for peeking!
HH!
