Trifecta of Old Coins and Other Goodies from the Woods Today!

It was another great day to be in the woods metal detecting today. Other than the small musket ball, we didn't find any Civil War stuff (commonly found at this site). I did manage to find two pocket knives, two "V" Nickels (1906 and 1889), a wheat penny (1918), a silver plated fork, half of an 1800s gold plated cuff link, a few other interesting items, and a TON of trash. The 1889 nickel is TOASTED! I could barely make out the date. I don't find V Nickels very often, so I'm not complaining . My buddy Craig got a few coins, a neat gold plated pin from the 1800s, and a lot of trash as well. All in all it was a pretty good day! Thanks for looking and HH!
