Trip To North Carolina!

I finally got down to Carolina to hunt with Matt.
The temp was down. The wind was up. And the ice was everywhere.
Had a GREAT time!!!!!!!

Nice finds. Yes this cold snap is an anomaly. It's friggin bitter cold here. Deer season is finally done and I wanted to go hunt an old site deep in the woods Sunday but no haps. 25* with 15 mph winds no thanx. It'll warm up.

Yup, you sure did find one for yourself. I've found a lot of those Shirley President suspender parts out here in AZ & in WI in the old logging camps. Time frame on the ones I have found is around 1890-1930's?

Very interesting finds. The one looks like a duck caller. I"m not up on that, I know now a days the ones I've seen are made of wood.

Nice find's there Ty.....I tried looking up CW instrument's until I was blue in the face Found absolutely nothing on the "duck call" look alike.The lead thing has me stumped as well,buuuuut I CAN id the round ball....2 out of three aint bad.Cool stuff bud....Call ya later
