Trip To Porto Rico Which detector to take

I am traveling to Porto Rico next month for 3 weeks, we will be staying on the ocean in a house about 50 miles west of San Juan.
I have a Whites Surfmaster II and a Surfmaster PI. Which would you suggest for the beach and shallow water? I might also squeeze a Garrett GTA 1000, if you think it would so better than the Surmasters on the beach. I also have a Whites MXT but I really don't want to take it due to the size.

Your no help, Pick 2 only. Probably will do more beach hunting that water, since i will be on the ocean side.

Im not as fimular with the PI Although I only have to take one handle for them both.
