Trouble with Signature Picture

I went to change my signature picture and noticed it was way tinier. I tried to put it back and remembered that my old one was on my old computer, I decided just to remake it then, when I uploaded it it was still tiny. I then edited it to make a way bigger, still the same tiny size. I then noticed it was out of the 500x500 limit and made it as high as I can go staying in the 500x500, no change, still tiny. Any way how I can solve that problem?

You can see how it shows up in my signature below, it used to show up the same size as it does in this post.

Is there a way to make it show up like it was before? I thought it shows up full size by default. Am I doing something wrong?

Found out that my size was too big, it is really 500x100, not 500x500, and that if it is more 500x100 it makes it shrink to a certain size by default. I then put it as big as I could staying within that size range.
