I had to run to Denver today and made a stop as always I do to find some TS treasure. They had these 3 pieces tapped together and even before I picked it off the shelf, I said to myself, " this looks good". That it was, 270 grams for 10 and change. It has a familiar looking Mexican silversmith mark, that I'll look into. I was beginning to believe all I'll ever find is silverplate at these big TS places anymore.

Nice find. The maker is Juventino Lopez Reyes.

Good eye. Congrats

It doesn't look like his stuff goes for any premium price much over spot that I'm seeing on eBay, but still it's a nice amount of silver for the price I gave. I've been hanging on to most all the clean silver I can find for a deal. Weighted items I cash in or trade at the precious metal buyer after I strip and crush them.

Very nice. Its for tea? Or is it a gravy boat type thing? I really like the design

I think it's for sugar. You use the scoop to get sugar out of the larger vessel. Not sure if the tray/plate is part of the piece or just the same pattern.
