I went to one of my favorite fields this morning. I was extremely disappointed to find that the small soybean plants in the field were covered by a field of weeds. Only in a few small places could you see the ground. This heartbreaker came from there. It appears to me that the damage occurred many years ago as the patina is the same all over the point.

I then went to a small site in the next field and found this one.

Newt, You have better eyes than me. I can't see anything written on it! ::) Nice finds Americus. I'll bet that first one would really come to life if you soaked it in mineral oil.
If you are hesitant to do that, try a broke point and see what it does.
