Went to a north side park and hunted a new area I had never hunted that much because I suspected alot of fill. Hunted for about 2 hours and found a half dollar sized 1920s/1930s bank token. It is really corroded but I can make out it was issued by North West State Bank of Chicago, IL. Was able to find it on an internet site for tokens. This token allowed the owner to get 50 cents credit when they open an account for $5 (exact same promotion that was on Kimsdad's token from a few weeks ago). Also found a 1910 V nickel.

congrats on 2 nice finds!

Nice finds Patrick! Hey, ya never know how old the fill dirt could be.
After I dug a 1905 Injun today at 2", there was a 80's pocket spill
3" under it.

Nice token and V nickel!

Joe

Nice Finds Patrick!
Wasn't Kimsdad's for $1 on a $5 deposit though? -- I'm going to Noel Bank instead. Seriously though, great finds; love those V's

Sweet token & V!!! :icon_pirat:

Man oh man, already with the tokens this year. You guys are gonna drive the token marketplace into the ground!

Nice finds!
That park has some huge potential with finds like that. Keep pounding it!

Great finds, Patrick!!!

I didn't know banks did tokens, and the here comes two bank tokens in 2 weeks - do I smell a contest in the air?

I wonder who's going to get the third one?

Cool Token...
