i used to find those all over the woods around my parents house in Florida. Wish I had held on to one or two of the nicer ones.

Yea most are pretty bad shape Ima see how to try preserve them

Brings back memories, I used to see those quite often also. I’ve got a clay (terracotta) terpentine cup that predates the tin ones....not sure how old it is but you can find broken clay and the tin cups from turpentine work all over the place here on NW Florida.

How did you perserve yours

I soaked them in warm Evaporust and then treated them with Total Rust Converter, followed by an application of flat urethane.
