Detector(s) used
Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore mostly or oversized coil on equinox.
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I finally hit bottom at my underwater site. It's 18 to 20 inches down and while the coins haven't been spectacular on their own im pretty shocked about the volume of late 1930s to mid century stuff that got tossed in here definitely on purpose. I would say depositing activities stopped by 1964 1965 given the lack of clad coinage in here.

The big 23 silver day is the first photo. 13 silver Roosevelt dimes, 6 mercs the oldest being a very worn 1918 or 1919, two Washington quarters 1961D and 1953D, two silver religious metals and a marked 14k warranted fountain pen nib. Really like the Heinz pickle crock shard. Also in the mix a cool Washington dc sail boat pin, a jasper flake, a 1939 Canadian penny, a few non precious religious metals, a Philadelphia Transportation Co fare token and a ton of keys 🔑. 1908 indian head was a surprise sadly not 1908 S.

Photo two is a separate hunt that yelided a cool Franklin Institute Souvenir token and another Franklin half dollar but an ugly one ha.

Photo three is from this past Saturday and finally got a ww2?? Paratrooper pin. The brass and enamle pin is for the Holy Name Society ( i found several summer of 2024 in here). Key is a neat old Briggs and Stratton key.

Total silver item count since I discovered this deposit June 2024 is currently at 67.

Note I've not shown all the crusty wheatys and silverware from here it's just too much. It's mostly sifting, using pin pointer and sparingly a manticore though at this point I just lug out the sifter, pointer, bunch of 9 volts, soil knife and a big scoop.

Lots of goodies there, congrats!
Are you going to clean any of it?
There is a long line at the my electrolysis cell as most items were near big iron and have rust transfer. I've gotten the Franklin Institute token and ptc clean so far. Don't mind the other items in this photo as it was for a post on Philadelphia tokens/badges.
