I took off work early Friday to get a jump on the weekend, the weather was perfect, no more humidity. Friday afternoon I headed out for a park that I've pulled a couple silver from in the past and I wasn't dissappointed. I ended the afternoon with a '35 Washington, a 46d Rosey, a '43d Merc, an '05 and an '06 I.H. a token that reads Doc Mannshrek, Cook Neb. good for 5 cents and 12 wheats.
Saturday I thought I would go check out a couple parks that I've been wondering about. I found out that they had been pounded hard but I still managed a few silver. I managed the '30, 28d and '45 Mercs and 6 wheats.
Today was the best day of the weekend by far. I headed out with 2 parks in mind and I spent all day in the first one that I stopped at. This park had produced silver on one other hunt so I thought it was worth another shot. 8 silver, 4 I.H.s, 2 Vs, 2 Buffalos, a token and 16 wheats. The silver are the '92 Barber quarter, the '03,'04,'06,'12,'14 Barber dimes, a '13 Canadian dime and a '17 Merc. The I.H.s are '03,'07,'97,'88 the Buffalos are '19 and '29s the Vs are '00 and '09 the token says Wm. Coolidge, Rosalie Neb. good for 5 cents. I had a blast at this place, I was the only one there all day. All the kids must have been playing video games or texting or in cyber space. Thanks for looking and HH
