Yesterday was rough. Shut down for a while due to whiteouts, even here in town. Today much better so I drove up on Ute Pass. More snow in the forecast.

Sorry to hear of your woes, RGINN, but then again I guess you're used to it by now . Spring is in full swing here, nesting birds and fledglings, but we do get caught with the odd late snow every now and then, so I won't tempt fate, but wish you an early spring instead :D

hammered

Well hammered, we are better equipped to handle it here and snow means money in this party of the country. After 7 years I'm getting more used to it. Oklahoma is a good place to be from, but I really miss it up here in April and May. The rest of the year not so much.

We need snow, rain, or any moisture here in OK, in the western part they are getting desperate for hay, they fed most of it during the last blizard, & our water table is getting lower & lower.

Fossis..........

colorado looks a beautiful in winter as it does in summer! ;D awesome pic! :headbang: :notworthy:

Colorados seasons: Winter, 9 months. Summer: 3 months :laughing7: Sorry, I just had to say that.

Well crazyjarhead, Doc Holliday was over in Leadville for awhile and he said 9 months of winter and 3 months of late fall. Pretty much right. Hang in there Fossis, y'all will get some rain, but it may be more than you need.

RGINN,
You know what the old mountain man said to Jeremiah Johnson as they were eating their rabbitt in a 3ft snow field! Pilgrim I hear it's spring time down below, it's all muddy, and tracked and there ain't nuthin but flatlanders down there.
I try to remember that saying every year about this time.
HH, RCW

Yeah doc, I saw that part in the movie and it's startin to ring true more and more. Take care. This season we beat y'all in the San Juans for snowfall, I think.
