Two boxes and a first "in the wild 1987" find for me...

I say in the wild because I found one of these in a water bottle of halves my wife's aunt has been saving forever...so "wild" being from the population...


I went through two $500 boxes of halves last night and no silver...although there were many, many, many 2008's in there. Wonder whats up with that...seemd to be more of those than just about anything else.


My one nice find was a bright and shiny..............1987....lol. I thought it was cool because I have been through many thousands of dolllars in halves and have not found one coming in from the general population.

ive only found one in the wild b4, and it was very exciting, now i just need another of a different mint mark to complete my kennedy half dollar collection (w/ the exception of the 1970 which ill probably NEVER find!)

This one is a "P" I believe...have to find my loop to see that mark it is so small. The coin is in really good condition though...very shiny.

I found 67 of the 1987 in a 2 week period out of 4 brinks boxes and rileyboy got 90% of them..lol
