Been hunting an 1800's property for a lost wedding band but still no luck. However, on Friday i was rewarded with a couple of sweet tokens right on top of each other lol. Also took this nice largie from same yard. At Pro with stock coil today:

That's a real interesting find you have there. Tokens and store cards became outlawed as currency in 1864 so chances are those were lost at or around that time.

Congrats

You found some history there in that yard. The CWT's are nice enough, but the 1846 L.C. is truly a great old coin. It is the "large date" variety too, which is the scarcest type for that date. I hope you can get back there. I'd have to believe there are more coins and relics to be found.
Best of Luck,
Phil

Those coins are incredible!!! Congrats to you, and good luck finding that ring...

Those tokens are in great condition. The tokens and store cards of 1863 were made on the most part of copper and did not fare as well as yours.

It looks like you are digging the mid tones. Congrats on digging the token spill and good luck on the ring recovery.

Thanks guys! Any idea on value of the tokens?

What does it say on the tokens? The token with the flag is rated at r2 rating.

Great looking tokens! Congrats on Lc and good luck on wb

fantastic finds. all three are awesome!

Hello Fast Ed. Ya gotta love old tokens and those are some excellent ones, in great shape too considering their age. Congratulations and Good Luck! C9

BTW great LC too...

got a "Flag" token in Ulster county last summer. it was the "shoot him on the spot" version (sold for $10). it lived next to a squad of IH's and a CW GS cuff button. yours looks great!!

Oh that is some wonderful stuff!! Good finds!!

Hi Brian, Army and Navy with anchor and crossed sabers on front. Back - The federal union, it must and shall be preserved with thirteen stars.

The flag of our union 1863 on front. Back - if anybody attempts to tear it down, shoot him on the spot, with DIX in middle

These are probably my favorite finds of all time just because of the content and how i feel about our flag....

Great LC and tokens! Nice fines, enjoy and happy hunting.
