Last 2 days found some nice coins to end the coin hunting season before old man winter sets in...Sunday I found the coin from India of all places in a school tot lot buried in wood chips.
Today at a park near the house I dug up this cool 1919 Wheat Penny that is in great condition. Was buried in about 6" of dirt. Had a pretty good summer coin hunting. Only problem was that I was out for about 6 weeks due to a car accident. Some 24 year old kid total my 2002 Caravan and I ended up in the hospital for 3 days with broken ribs and a big huge bruise on my leg. which has not gone completely away Accident was July 11... Of course the kid had no insurance, suspended drivers license, and was on meth when he ran a red light doing about 50 MPH and t boned the passengers
side..
Thank God no one was killed.. Anyways just wanted to share my last 2 good finds for 2011.
Hope the pics are clear enough Good hunting Shane

Totlots are quite possibly the most unpredictable areas to hunt. I have found some pretty big silver coins in the sand box of the elementary school here.

So sorry to hear about the accident. Thank GOD you are on the mend. Continued good hunting and many more excellent finds. :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: :hello2:

Glad to hear you survived a bad wreck, that penny looks great. HH
