Dug a flat button and two IHPs today, one of which is an 1862 fattie

The other fattie was dug yesterday. Got a dime signal but shallow, and decided to dig it. Out popped this huge skull ring. Fresh out of the ground it looked just like every other silver jewelry piece ive ever dug, and cleaned up it looked like every other jewelry piece ive ever dug...but there's no .925 or 'sterling' marking

Other finds from yesterday were a cool old key, three buttons, and another IHP (good condition except for the 3rd digit in the date)

Nicely done Murray, , looks like you have a run on IHP's going.
Congrats on some nice finds.

Great finds!!! that is an awesome silver skull ring. good job

Great finds. The only " fatty" IHP I found rang in much lower than is typical. Was that true for you? Love the skull ring...kind'a creepy!

Yes as a matter of fact I was going to mention that...thanks for reminding me. Rang up 12-22 (regular ihp's ring up 12-35 or so).

Congrats on the nice finds, that ring is gnarly!

My wife be like, thanks for the key... She's into those....
Great digs!

Cool finds, especially the skull. Congratualtions! :occasion14:

Nice old Indians are fun finds. Congrats

The ring may be Skeletor (from the He-Man cartoon series) late 80's early 90's era. Looks like a great place to hunt again. Congrats on pulling all the keepers Murray :occasion14:
