Two "firsts"

I did a little land digging today at a house which is over 100 years old and found about 20 modern coins. The older coins seemed to be hiding from me but I still managed to pull two nice "firsts" for me. The 1982 half dollar was a great find and then I found this lead soldier. I have done some research and I believe it is from the 1930s and styled after WWI soldiers. As you can see from the photos the paint is still in pretty nice shape! The company is not evident on the figurine but I believe it is from "Manoil." Anybody know a little more about these? Thanks in advance.
