Last week my local Coin Club had a show, and at the entrance is the welcome table with the raffle ticket sales for a bunch of different coins, pamphlets on other shows, etc....I paid my 5 bucks for 6 entries, and was on my way....I bought a few nice coins for my collection, then was off to do Christmas shopping. A few hours later I am at the Home Depot, in the parking lot I found a pretty earring, some stones in it, but I cant tell if she is a goody without my readers...
Anyways, the phone rings, Jay at the coin show says I won the gold bar!!! I hauled my a$$ back to the show, all the while I didn't remember seeing a gold bar....
I walk in and he hands me this....
1 Gram of Swiss Gold!!! 999.9% pure!
OK, so not what I would call a gold bar, in that its the size of my pinky nail.... but I will cherish it because I never win raffles like that, so yay me!!!
Oh yea, so I get home, take a looksy at the earring.... 14K white gold with 10 Diamonds!!!!
The thrill of free gold knows no equal!!!
