Two guys, two girls, a dog named Sadie, beer & a car!
The last several times out weren't that productive, but I had to go on a mini road trip to babysit at one of my kid's house when their sitter fell through last week. I put the detector in the car just in case, and got about twenty minutes to hunt the back yard. I was able to find a '59 Rosie. That was a nice surprise!
Today, Watercolor and I went out for an all-dayer. We hit three different areas in two groves. I managed a great dog tag (which I really like to find), a '39 D Merc and a '41 plain. Also, about two inches down in the woods I dug a penny signal, and was I ever surprised to see an 1898 Indian!
I've dug memorials four times as deep as that Indian....
I also picked up a 50 year anniversary Chevrolet key fob. Chevy was started in 1911 and bought by GM in 1917, so it's from the 60's. The Peter Hand's Brewing Company disc is convex with a spot in the middle of the back where a post might have been. Maybe it was part of a belt buckle.
While we were out at the first grove, Guy (Bucnrut) stopped by to chat and show me his really sweet special find from yesterday. OMG!!! I want one!!! I don't want to spill the beans, but it is a great coin! I'm glad he stopped by and I got a chance to see it!
I did try to call Sadie's house to see if she wanted her tag back, but the number was disconnected.
She might be on the lam from animal control.

Cheers! and thanks for checking out my stuff!
