Today I went out to a local park for a few hours of detecting. Second day in a row that I have been able to hunt in quite a while. Also, second day in a row that I have found two silvers!
My first silver was a 1943 Mercury dime! I initially had a tough time pinpointing it, but eventually I saw the coin. It had a pretty good gouge on it (not by me), but I am not complaining. The second silver was a 1914 Barber that also had two IHC’s in the same hole! I feel extremely lucky! Not just for what I found today, but also, this is the second day in a row that I found a Barber dime. Both dimes were dated 1914, but the one today had a “D” mintmark.
Additionally, I found a couple of military buttons and two wheat pennies. Both of the pennies were from 1917. I am liking the Equinox. Everything I have found the past two days, was the same area that I have searched multiple times with my ATPro.
Here are some pics.
