I have not posted in a while but i got to go to a new place built in the mid 1800s. My first find was my first ring ever, then a 1946 dime, a 1935 & 36 indain head, and does anybody now what the lead washer was used for it has a peice across the middle and a 3 stamped on the front and back. Thanks for looking Steve

Way to go Nice ring

Steve, nice finds and congrats on that ring!!

Your whatsit might be a lead hem weight for the bottom of a dress or curtain.

That number could refer to it's size/weight. . . I found one similar out in the woods
the other day that was slightly smaller and had a number "1" stamped on one side.

good id watercolor, also could be a civil war era frock coat weight used to weight down the corners of the coat

I have seen buttons like that before also. Real nice on your buffalos, silver Rosie, and ring too!! That would be a goooood day where I live!

Any markings on the inside of that ring? It definitely looks like gold and maybe the stone's real too.

Congrats on the nice finds! Looks like you have a great place to hunt.

I've gotta find a buffalo one of these days.......

Had me confused there for a second, I kept looking for indian head cents, lol, I got it figured out though!

nice job on the silver rosie and the buffalo nickels!

That ring looks good and OLD. Definitely have it checked out.

The little weight is indeed a hem weight for a woman's dress.

The gold looks real and the stone looks real. I am with the others dose it have a marking on the inside?

Nice finds,

Keep @ it and HH!!

WTG! Nice Ring and Great Indians! And Silver is always a welcome find. I with the others on checking out the ring.

Look's real good to me and Congrat's on the ring.....I'm still looking for my first dug Buffalo

I had the ring looked at by a jeweler and it was real. 10k with 7 tiny diamonds he said it was worth about a $100 dollars but i am going to let someone else take a look. Thanks Steve

Wow, You had a great day. I love that ring and it looks real to me too. Keep at it. HH
