Hi all,
In between the heavy rain and blustery wind i got out detecting for a short power session with my minelab safari!
I decided to go to an area that i had not detected for nearly 6 months but in the past had good finds from. In fact last time i was there i had a medieval heraldic pendant with green and red enamelling still intact.
From my research i had found out that in between the years 1250-1300 a very wealthy family had owned a section of this land and had a big house there which i think is why there is so many finds from that era turning up. unfortunately all the finds are very deep and i think that any coins will have sunk out of reach of a metal detector.
Anyway i will let the video do the rest of the talking!

As you know I don't normally watch videos, but as it was only 3 minutes I had a look.
If that family date range is correct, its more than likely that all the objects are not associated. The Pendant is 14th C, the buckle most likely 14th C, & the pot leg could fit but could be as late as 17th C.

Cheers crusader, just checked the article I was reading and it says the house was occupied by the family form the 12-14 century and was then demolished.
