Hi everyone!
Just got these two coins in the mail today. One is a coin from Livonia from 1651. The other is a counterstamped 1871 Peruvian Sol. The counterstamp is an 1894 1/2 Real from Guatemala. Anyone have any info about this coin? Thank you!

By the way, the details on the Livonia coin are great. I'm thinking VF to EF details.

The counterstamped coin is Guatemala km#224, worth about $20 in F, $30 in VF, and $45 in XF (numbers are from the 2007 Krause book, so values may have changed). Although the die is the 1/2 real, the coin was valued at one peso.

I didn't think Liviona, MI was that old of a city. lol

Nice coins and that one does have great detail considering age. Find a similar dated Morgan and they are practically polished smooth, most of the time.
