two piece button ?

I found this button with very little detail left on it. I attached some
pictures in hopes someone can shed a little light on it.

Nice old button.
Hard to tell if it ever had a design on the front & maybe there's a back-mark.
IMO It's an old Civilian Button .

But don't take my word for it.

Still in nice shape also.
