Two rings & some wheat's
Well the weather here has been crappy so what few times I have been able to hunt have been short. I have been trying out a 12" coil & trying to get used to it, hoping that when I figure it out it will go deeper than the 6x10. I have been using both coils & was able to come up with 13 wheat's the oldest 1919 3 nickles 1940 43 44 a 1936 Ariz. tax token a antique toy lip stick tube & two rings. I thought I had my first two gold day but it was not to be, the first one was a small gold plated ring with a heart shaped ruby (also fake I believe) but the second ring is a mans 10k with a insignia ( The Maccabees) I don't know anything about this organization other than what little I found on the net.
We are expected to get several inches of snow tonight so it looks like my next hunt will be this weekend. I want to figure out how to pin point with the 12" but more important see if it will go deeper than the 6x10. HH to all & hope this storm goes around you.
