Great hunt! Still have yet to find a standing liberty this year. And with a legible date too, nice! Interesting that they pre-date the school by quite a bit.

My first standing Liberty quarter this year I had to use silver acid to raise the date. Had to see if it was a 1916. It was a 1917.

A 1916 would have been a nice suprise. Would certainly make the hobby alot more profitable if we could all find something like that every now and then. 😄👍

Those are some great recoveries, congrats!
I spent a couple hours there.found less than a dollar in change.couple of nails not a lot of good targets to dig. But I will go back again.
 

Went to a school today built in 1948. 1926 standing Liberty quarter, 1939 mercury dime, six wheats. The ring is plated. Looked like silver when it first came out of the ground.
Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!
