Two silver coins? Not sure...

I was digging through a bag of stuff I found and pulled out these two coins. I think they are both silver. Not sure though. I think the smaller one is for sure. It's a 1961. The other is 1957. It appears to have the look of silver and has a very high tone when dropped but I am not sure. Any dead? Thanks.

the Mexican Peso is 10% silver. I can't tell what the other coin is from the picture.
 

The Mex. Peso is, as 'jewelerguy' said 10% silver.
The coin weights 16 grams so the actual silver content is 0.0514 oz. ASW.
It's was a common coin (about 29M minted) and is worth only bullion value today unless in EF or better grade.
