I haven't had a chance to dig, post or read what you guys have been posting lately. Working way to much and no play time to dig :'(. Finally got a chance to get out and it turned out to be a Great Day. I've been to this site a few times with no luck at all. This site has been cleaned out pretty good but going real slow let me sneak out a couple more goodies. I was swinging the coil for about two hours, ready to give up after only finding some clad. I was heading back to the car when I picked up a decent signal, I filmed the dig hope you enjoy.

I love hunting those cleaned-out sites. Wonder how many missed that sweet half?

That coin has it all - It's big silver, it's seated, it's in nice condition and it's low mintage. Hard to beat that find

Congratulations

No such thing as a cleaned out sight. A few years back my son and I were hunting a old park that was obviously hunted hard. He found a 1905s Barber dime at 8 inch's and I wasn't finding much of anything. After two hours of hunting I was ready to call it quits when I got a coin reading at 3 inch's. Thinking it was a clad quarter I quickly dug it up and to my surprise a beautiful 1873 Seated Liberty Quarter popped up. How that coin was missed is a mystery to me but I 'll take it. Seated just don't come along that often.

Congratulations to you on your half. Rick :coffee2:
