Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Another night to soak in my local beach, end of the hunting season in the Sea is close, every day costs more to find Jewelry by this summer ,but are 44 rings( 10 Gold ), 1chain , earrings and hundred coins recovered, and is also harder to find jewels by early September had a summer storm that covered the bottom of the sea and then only there were some old bits .
They have also been recovered Sunglasses, bracelets, toy cars (which are favorite finds to the little Hispan) and artifacts of all kinds .... and pulltabs. :laughing7:
This season I noticed a change in the type of findings, this is due to the current economic crisis, appear less decorative Gold rings and more type of marriage alliances (in my country that all people are selling gold jewelry have not sentimental value to get extra money and be able to survive this crisis) and only lost in the Sea Wedding rings, but this year and recovered a gold ring gave me $ 400 .
It's been a good hunting season at Sea and in the fields ..... now I have to return to work and rest.

Our Dutch coins used to be just great in the sea, contained enough nickle to keep them nice.
Euro coins however, are dark after a few weeks, get really coated fast and the gold color cannot really be restored very good. The 'copper' one, two and 5 cent rust away from the middle to the outside, they contain iron in the middle. Bad stuff.

Hi treasurepirate1! :hello:
The coins of Canada came here for a tourist who lost in the water, are very well made and are a very good metal.

Those coins will disappear from the beach in less than 20 years, are made in a shoddy metal , the cents of the Euro are very similar to the Dolar cents ... we have to recover all. :D

only served to pay a debt of 600 EU of taxes to the government :-\ and family expenses, but I left with some rings and things I liked.
I do not like the rain and I have to go back to work .... But up in next summer.
