Couldn't find a buddy to go with this afternoon but it was too beautiful a day to waste...found an older neighborhood in Eugene and knocked on some doors. Nice people gave me permission to hunt in their front yards. It took me several hours of slow hunting but there were wheaties so I couldn't stop. The rewards were a 1944-S quarter and a 1950-D dime.

Guess like some of the others posting today I had a lucky Friday the 13th!

Thanks for looking,

Mike

Nice silver mike. You are the brave one when it comes to asking. I went diving today for the first time this year. Found a few cool things and tried out my new underwater camera. Fuuuun!!

Nice job! And I don't mean the coins -- I mean having the guts to ask. That is tough -- especially when you know some people won't take too kindly to our type of activity. Keep it up.

Good ol' fashion door knocking. Never hurts to ask. Nice payoff!

How'd you do at the ANA national money show in Portland? I wish I could have gone!
