The first thing is a piece from what I believe a Robert Roskell watch. Any idea which part? Also, possible age? Tried looking online, but looks like it could range from the 1790s to 1860s based on dates I saw for Roskell pieces. Any way to pinpoint a little more precise range?

2nd piece is a sterling mechanical pencil pendant/charm. It's about 2 1/2 to 3" long, and has a bale (bail?) where a chain would be put through. Looking for age, and if anyone can ID what the manufacturer is. I can't see what it says but almost looks like UTSHEOM or something along those lines.

I'd say you've solved the watch plate and the pencil is later 19th century imo. Great indications of a hot spot to search I'm thinking? So far some sterling, so something made of gold could very well be around the area?. Great little finds:thumbsup:

I think Roskell relocated to London somewhere around 1840, having started out in Liverpool. But then he partnered with John Hunt in 1843... I don't know if that partnership changed the marks on his watches?
