I take it that you hunt parks and schools. Maybe it's time to do some door knocking to get on a virgin house site.

I have access to a huge lot that was a 20 building apartment complex in walking distance from home but will try to figure a way to venture out some.

I have access to a huge lot that was a 20 building apartment complex in walking distance from home but will try to figure a way to venture out some.

I started detecting late April 2014 and pulled $511 that year. I pulled approx. 20 silvers. I mainly hunted schools and parks within a 50 mile radius of home. Most of the silvers came from the few permissions I hunted. If you want silvers and old coins you need to find sites that had activity back then. If you just want silvers, find houses that had kids during the late 40s thru the early 60s. The economy was great and kids had more of a chance in having money on them. If you want coins from the 1800s, then you will need to review old maps to see what lots had homes on them back then. Good Luck & Happy Hunting.
