Business trip this weekend to Savannah. So much history here. Civil War, but much older stuff too. Unfortunately I did not have time to research any spots in Savannah so decided to hit a really nice beach nearby, Tybee.
Met a couple local detectorists on the beach, super southern hospitality friendly. Shared stories, finds and they gave some tips.
Typical clad haul at the beach in early season. Some other fun finds.
Couple interesting coins, 44 wheat and an Asian coin. The ring has a stamp in it that I don't recognize.
Maybe silver, maybe plated. Oh, and here is room service tonight!
