Howdy Folks. Was hoping to do tot lots last night but, met up with the local Park Ranger and discussed the rules. No one allowed in the parks after dusk. I have been hunting them for years at night with no problems but, want to follow the rules. The ranger is a very nice retired State Police officer. He did give me a lead on another spot I can hunt until 11:00 p.m. So I headed out to Lowell Park in Dixon, IL where Ronald Reagan was a life guard on the Rock River back in the day.
I found the weird looking arm thingy last night under a beautiful full moon and pleasantly breezy night. I went back to the river front today and worked the "break" area where the river erodes the dirt away during floods. That's where I recovered the lead horse & soldier toy and my ugly 1900 Indian Head Penny. Had a nice chat with the gentleman in the swing. Didn't actually mean to get him in the picture but, I am sure he wouldn't mind. Some of the other various stuff is from either today or past hunts. Lots of lead sinkers and pulltabs dug today and last night. Thanks for stopping by. Kurios1
