Ugly Mercury Dime

Hi All,

Off of work today and just bought a used Fisher ID Edge and anxious to try it out. Hit one old home site for about an hour and found one wheatie. At a second home site the house is still standing and I actually hunt inside the house where most of the floor has been torn out. Close to one of the fireplaces I found a coin and immediately thought it was another wheatie because it was so cruddy. Turns out to be a '26 Merc and the ugliest one I've ever found. Oh well, silver's silver - I'll take it. Found another wheatie close by.

Good analogy. Reminds me of the episode of Andy Griffith when they fix Gomer up with Mary Grace. "She's nice, she's real nice!" My Mercury dime is "nice".
