So my buyer hit a buy-it-now on two items and paid for them immediately. ebay lumped them together automatically for one combined shipping label -- but they won't possibly fit into one box. All I want to do is ship two items in two boxes. Is there anywhere an 'uncombine order' button?

The good news is that I am shipping $800 worth of vintage stereo equipment that I bought for $4 and yesterday was my first almost $1000 day on ebay! Woohoo! If I could just remember that when I'm sitting here cursing ebay.

Answering my own question, there's no way to uncombine the order. So I shipped one item and it marked the entire order as complete (which I would think ebay would want to avoid).

Then I was able to print out a second, different, label for the second item. Which changed the tracking number for the entire order to one for the second box.

Amazon and every other dot com I can think of allows individual shipping and tracking of items in one order. ebay needs to pull back on their strategy of imposing what fits for 80% of people on all 100%. That is a workable strategy for mobile, not not for full functioned websites.

Can't you manually upload a tracking number? I think that there is a place to add one on the sold page.
