uncut raw diamonds question

A friend of mine telephoned me recently inquiring where he can sell uncut diamonds. It seems that he obtained about 8 of them in the middle east some years ago and now needs to cash in. He figured that since I am in the hobby that I would have an answer. I dont have a clue but Im sure one of you does. Thanks...Dan

Handling raw diamonds now requires a "Kimberly Certificate". I'm sure there will be someone willing to buy them but to do it legally does require the certificate. The ruling was established by the United Nations as a means to prevent the trafficking in so called "Blood Diamonds".
