Thats a really cool find! I imagine it had to have been for an old advertising print. It would make an excellent display, with a few prints around it (made from it). I'll bet that was a bit risque for its day... I like it.

Nice! As nhbenz said, either ink it and make a print or two or lay a sheet of paper on it and do a pencil rubbing. Definitely a well earned bit of memorbilia in the cold. Congrats and HH!

With a bit of research, you might be able to find out what it was advertising and/or firm. Then possibly find out when, and try to get a copy of the advertising from the local newspaper or library to have as a display.
VERY cool find!

Went to Allen Military Academy as a youngster. Bryan is a great town. Thats a printers plate. Nice one too! Early 1900's.
Could have been used to print a trade or merchants card also. The area to the right of the old school would be a great place to coin hunt. Are the old homes still there?
