Couldn't believe my eyes when this popped out of my scoop after hitting a local river spot today. It as in an area where I havent hunted before. I will surely be back there soon. It is holed, so I'm sure it wasn't lost many decades ago. By the depth, I would guess late 70's to early 80's. My first Morgan and I am tickled to have found it! Also included are 3 .925 rings I found earlier in the bay. Thanks for looking.

Congrats on the Morgan.

I dug several aluminum cans yesterday that "claimed" to be silver dollars, but were not.

Best of luck to you sir!

Welcome to the silver dollar club and thanks for posting. Even with the hole she's way nicer than my 1887O that I found that was lost in a lake about 100 or so years ago.
My best was a 1938 wheatie over the weekend, Tom. Also, I find that the cans tend to sound wider than a good target, but that may just be me and/or my machine.
HH ALL!

I was finding deep sinkers. The teardrop variety always ring medium. Sometimes the pyramid shaped ones ring high on my CZ21, so I thought it was going to be one of those. Never know what's gonna surface sometimes!

WOW!!! That is an awesome experience Idnit?

What a find!! And in very good condition!! Nice save Dave!
