On a mountainous region, 23 miles as the crow flies far from the sea, I discovered two fossil sites about one mile apart from each other. I'm not sure, but the numerous,


often jammed together pieces of fossil seem to have risen from the bottom of the sea (that might have been there long ago), under the pressure of an upward geological movement.
