A couple of military buttons found on recent hunt.. Artillery & a Waterbury marked eagle along w a shield nickel...was more than happy to dig this to say the least..

Returned to a good cellar hole today with the good weather and managed to come out with some keepers. Did a little filming to start a Youtube channel. Fiancee came out on top with this artillery button. Cant seem to find the exact button with these back marks in my book or online so if anyone...

I've Done some research on this button and believe it is post war of 1812 ..one of the features is the rimmed edge not seen on earlier war of 1812 types..still a great find for my area!

Correct, 1814-1821 Militia Artillery
