Lock 7 (east) is still there and in good shape. I've got really good pictures of it and the more obscure and in better shape lock 8 east where you can still see some timberwork of the lock floor.
 

I cant find it right now, but someone posted an old picture of the Union Canal in Myerstown "back in the day". Where was this picture taken? I'm probably the biggest Union Canal buff. Anyone else interested in the Union Canal? I also visited sites of eastern locks 2, 3, 9, 11, 12, and 31 and the adjacent Mill Creek Aqueduct. My brother just got pics of remains of lock 23 near Womelsdorf.
