There are 10 volumes in this series. The ad for these books describes these volumes as "Nearly 50,000 locations comprise the 10-Volume set, all sites pinpointed on large, easy to read state highway maps..." Each state map contains numbered dots which corresponds to a list identifying a ghost town, historical site, or potential treasure location. It then becomes the responsibility of the reader to research the site(s) of interest and determine whether the location is an actual viable site.

I have two of the volumes:

Volume 1: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas
Volume 2: California, Colorado
Volume 3: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois
Volume 4: Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana
Volume 5: Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi
Volume 6: Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey
Volume 7: New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio
Volume 8: Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota
Volume 9: Tennessee, Texas, Utah
Volume 10: Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

I looked at volume 2 for California. It is fetching $80 while most others are 20 to 30 bucks. Crazy
